Holden and I have been reading "The Indian in the Cupboard" together. We were planning on reading the last chapter last night, but I was late at the studio and he was in bed before I got home. I thought for sure Holden would ask his Dad to read him the last chapter... after all he was so excited to hear the ending of the book...

But when his Dad offered to read to him, Holden said, no, I will wait for tomorrow night... Mom would be disappointed not the hear how it ends.

HOW SWEET WAS THAT? I can't wait until tonight. Nothing is going to keep me from our reading time.

What books have you read with your kids? Any good ones?

So don't fall over. Yes, I am posting.... Thanks for everyone who has asked "WHAT HAPPENED"??? So here is what happened.

I got a stalker .... AKA "Creepy Guy" on my blog. He would not leave me alone and it got scary. So I stopped blogging. My families and my safety has to come first.

I am hoping he is gone... I don't know how much I will blog. But if you want to see me.... I am on Face book.

Home from women's conference.

Conference was great. I got to meet Mother board. (Is that two words?) She is so cool. VERY SWEET!
She took a photo of us, but I will have to wait til she posts it so I can steal it and post it!! Just to have proof.

So one of my fav notes is from Wilcox:

Hike with the boys

I took my sons and my nephews on a hike last week when it was very cold. In fact it was so cold that we had to keep moving pretty fast to keep the numbness away from our fingers and toes. Holden and Ross were Especially cold, since they did not choose to listen to me and bring a coat. Next time, I think they will listen. :)

It was just fun to be around all these boys. I grew up with three older brothers. So I am use to all boys ~ all the time.

I would be Mother Teresa , because she lived what she believed. And it does not hurt that she helped so many children. That is my heart. Helping children.

Where is that phone?

Two of my friends were talking about women that keep their cell phones in their bra. They thought it was not so cool. I am not saying where I had my cell phone just then, but all of a sudden it rang and I had to run out of the room before I could retrieve it... Maybe I should rethink this one.

Missing mom 6 of 52

I'm participating in a year long challenge, created by Carin. The goal is to be in one picture a week, for 52 weeks. Since us moms are always behind the camera, this gives us a chance to get out in front and be in the pictures with our family. Fun challenge, right? You can join too! Here I am with three of my furry kids. Aren't they so so so so cute? There is nothing like running in the woods with them. I don't have to call to them, for they stay with me all the time. We are like a pack running wild. I JUST LOVE IT! Ok so I am crazy, but it is fun to just be alone with these guys.

YES! We had snow recently.

ps: Disclaimer .... please don't think I am saying it is a good idea to run alone anywhere. I do this because I have trained in martial arts for the past 8 year, teach women self defense, I carry pepper spray that is 10,000 times stronger than the pepper spray our police officers carry and I have a cell phone with me. Not to mention the three dogs.

If you have all this on your side, go for a run alone. If not, take a friend.

I have not decided if it is ok or not. It is a little short. I was thinking I could wear legging underneath. What do you think?
